NHP News: Fishing Competition

On Saturday, 14 March NHP hosted our 17th annual Bass Fishing Competition. This years event was bigger than ever before boasting a record number of 1086 anglers! The biggest bass fishing competition in the Southern hemisphere just got even bigger!
We were blessed with beautiful weather on the day and anglers enjoyed fishing at some of the 20 private farm dams that are open to the public for the event.

The junior winner for 2020 was Cameron Hohls who caught a 43cm bass. The senior winner
was Keren Wing who caught the biggest bass of the day measuring 57,5cm.

New Hanover Prep. would like to extend our heart-felt thanks to everyone who made this event such a huge success. From our amazing sponsors, to the farmers, to our hard working NHP parents, and of course to everyone who came to fish and supported the event.
